Bio

Jane Preuss joined the Kansas City Art Institute in 2022, where she focuses on supporting KCAI by providing strategic and preventative advising, crafting creative and pragmatic solutions, and engaging in collaborative problem-solving. Jane is a member of KCAI's Cabinet and advises the Board of Trustees, President, and all levels of leadership.

Prior to joining KCAI, Jane was a litigation attorney in the Kansas City offices of Littler Mendelson P.C. and Spencer Fane LLP, where a portion of her practice was dedicated to representing education and non-profit institutions, in addition to counseling public and private corporations and governmental entities on employment issues, and defending employment and commercial lawsuits in state and federal court. Jane holds a BA in Political Science and a BS in Mass Communications from Miami University (of Ohio) and a JD from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law.
